DDC offers a wide range of radiation-hardened memory products, including EEPROM, SRAM, SDRAM, and NOR & NAND flash. Any of these products are available either with DDC’s proprietary RAD-PAK® shielding, or in rad-tolerant packages. Rad-tolerant devices are available in a hermetic ceramic package with a guaranteed TID tolerance at the die level. The EEPROM are also available in DDC’s proprietary Xray-PAK® shielding, a hermetic ceramic package shielding technology that eliminates any line-of-sight radiation penetration to the semiconductors inside the package.
North Hills offers a full space-qualified line of In-Line MIL-STD-1553 data bus couplers. Full traceability of all materials and soldering to NASA 8739.3 or NHB5300.4 is provided. Our facilities are certified to ISO 9001:2000, MIL-Q-9858 and MIL-I-45208. Materials used in the data bus coupler and components meet the requirements for use in space and comply with NASA outgassing requirements in specification SP-R0022A. Coupler designs used on various harnesses have been qualified on many commercial and military rockets and satellites including, but not limited to: Atlas V Delta IV Int’l Space Station Messenger Satellite New Horizons Satellite Space Shuttle
